6 Piece Tapered Comb Padlock Lock Picks

Simple Padlock Exploit lock picking tools

You’re going to love this! In their wisdom, many padlock manufacturers missed a vulnerability in their locks. We saw it, and owning these tools mean you will too. Just like a key really, insert, push the pins up, and turn the lock to open. The stuff of Houdini, in the palm of your hand. You can’t beat that!

Basically, this vulnerability is created because you can push BOTH pins out of the plug, meaning there’s nothing obstructing the movement of the plug. The comb picks, if lined up with the pins, can push them both out of the plug and then allow you to turn it – then the lock is open.

Although there are still millions of padlocks that are open to this vulnerability, manufacturers have, thankfully, largely put a stop to this exploit, so do not expect to open high-security padlocks with comb picks. However, a lot of our customers dun their comb picks down on a bench grinder
